Support for Mine Action
In 2020, the Republic of Croatia contributed €28.4 million (US$32.4 million) to its mine action program. This represents about 60% of its total mine action budget.[1]
Croatia also received $27.4 million in international contributions toward clearance activities from the European Union.[2]
Since 2016, international contributions to mine action in Croatia totaled some $168 million, most of which (60%) was provided in 2016 and 2018. Croatia’s own contributions to its mine action program in the five-year period from 2016–2020 amounted to at least $119.2 million.
